Tamar Tomassian Award for Excellence in Collaboration

Award for Excellence

The Tamar Tomassian Award for Excellence in Collaboration was established in 2021 to honor Dr. Tamar Tomassian who lost her battle with cancer but will always be remembered by her colleagues. She was an outstanding scientist who trained with Dr. Carrie Miceli during the same time as June Round. No matter how busy Tamar was she alway selflessly helped her colleagues in the lab and was a true example of what it means to be collaborative which is so important when conducting interdisciplinary science. This award is voted on by members of the lab and given at the end of each year to the person who has been the most collaborative.
